Nikos Androulakis launched a direct attack on Kyriakos Mitsotakis for what the Prime Minister mentioned in Parliament during the debate on the vote of no confidence in the government presented by SYRIZA on Wednesday.
In a written statement, the President of PASOK-KIN.ALL. noted that “Mr. Mitsotakis had one last chance to tell the truth to the Greek people shortly before the national elections.”
N. Androulakis accused Kyriakos Mitsotakis of “choosing silence because it seems like he has no political status to take on heavy responsibility for the institutional aberration that exposed our country internationally.”
“The useless history of undermining institutions under the government of SYRIZA-AN.ELL. this does not relieve him of responsibility for violating fundamental rights and organizing a parastatal surveillance network,” he added.
Midroi vs. Mitsotakis, Thorns vs. Tsipras
Addressing the prime minister, Nikos Androulakis said that Mr. Mitsotakis was “guilty of covering up the scandal, of continuing attacks on the competent Independent Authority, of protecting entrepreneurs involved in illegal software.” What are dirty networks? Could it be that the former accomplices of Megaros Maximos are today SYRIZA informants?”
N. Androulakis said that he would not allow practices that go beyond the European framework to become state policy, noting that this would lead to discrediting the political system and a crisis of confidence.
Referring to elections, he argued that the dilemma of the ballot box is “either with those who are capable of anything while they are in power, even at the expense of public interests, institutions and democracy, or with those who are capable of anything”. those who are ready to sacrifice everything for the sake of ensuring social peace, prospects and prosperity in our country.”
Leaving the thorny questions to the President of SYRIZA, he concluded: “Finally, a reminder: there is no democratic faction with anti-democratic practices, Mr. Tsipras.”
