Coaches-paravan, suspended for two years by the FRF

In the midst of a scandal involving technicians without a professional license in the Super League, the president of the FRF has announced tough measures that will apply from next season.

“We have followed the path and will categorically not retreat in this direction, therefore our tolerance for the principles we announced is zero.

Starting this summer, we are considering the possibility of applying sanctions to shadow coaches. By shadow trainer we mean trainers who surrender their licenses, regardless of category, to other trainers who are not license holders.

Starting with the 2023-2024 season, we plan to suspend the Pro licenses of shadow coaches, coaches who rent their licenses, for two years.

I would like us not to face such problems, not to be put in such a situation, but we see that there is a need for the restrictions to be even tighter,” Rezvan told Bourlean, as quoted by Agerpres.

According to the president of the Football Federation, there are currently 204 coaches in Romania who have a Pro license.
