Rotated 180 degrees United States of America it looks like they will withdraw their objections to sending US tanks M1 Abrams in Ukraine and the announcement on this occasion can be made even within a week, writes the Wall Street Journal.
The announcement will form part of a wider diplomatic deal with Germany, according to which Berlin will agree to send fewer of its Leopard 2 tanks, but also approve their re-export from Poland and other countries to Ukraine, the source said. In this way, the differences that threatened to break the alliance with the West eleven months after the start of the war would be settled.
Two U.S. officials who spoke to the agency Reuters who asked not to be identified, said they did not know if a final decision had been made to send the Abrams to Ukraine, which would have prompted Germany to do the same.
The Pentagon has not yet commented on this information.
