​Magda Lynette achieved the best result of her career at the Grand Slam tournament at the Australian Open 2023: the athlete from Poland reached the semifinals, defeating Karolina Pliskova in two sets.

Lynette, who is ranked 45th in the world, defeated the former WTA number one in one hour and 28 minutes of play with a score of 6-3, 7-5.

Lynette delivered surprise after surprise at the Antipozi Grand Slam tournament. The Pole also eliminated Mayar Sherif (54 WTA), Anette Kontaveit (19 WTA), Kateryna Alexandrova (18 WTA) and Caroline Garcia (4 WTA).

Magda will fight the winner of the match between Aryna Sabalenko (5 WTA) and Donna Vekic (64 WTA) to reach the grand final.
