PNL First Vice-President Dan Motreanu claims in a public statement that PSD leader Marcel Çolaku is encouraging the party’s second-tier leaders to attack liberal ministers. Motreanu refers to PSD deputy Maryan’s attacks on liberals, who “out of anger started throwing handkerchiefs at their noses, on the basis of rotation.”

“It is quite difficult to have a good cooperation with the PSD in all districts, even if we can find a common denominator for many things that divide us, as long as the PSD President Marcel Čolaku encourages some of his representatives in the territory to attack PNL Ministers and representatives of the local PNL administration,” said first vice president of the PNL.

Motreanu also says that it is unacceptable that “the head of a weak PSD organization such as the one in Giurgiu attacks three PNL ministers in one position” and believes that Marcel Çolaku is the one who encourages the proposals of the PSD leaders to “bring in” ” some PNL mayors.

“There is a very big difference between the approach of Prime Minister Chuke, who never encouraged attacks in the coalition, on the contrary, he preferred not to respond when he or the NLP were attacked, and the approach of Marcel Cholaka, who encourages leaders with 2-3 echelons of the party to attack PNL ministers or encourage them to make proposals to “recruit” PNL mayors. Therefore, under these conditions, it is difficult to talk about unitary cooperation at the level of all districts between the PNL and the PSD”, said the first vice-president of the PNL, Dan Motreanu.

The reaction of Motreanu, who is also the leader of Giurgiu’s PNL, comes after Giurgiu’s PSD MP Marian Mina sharply attacked the liberals last week. Mina wrote on Facebook that the liberals “started to throw handkerchiefs through the rotation in anger”: “You don’t want to tell us what you are doing with the plagiarist Bode, with the “unofficial sources” Preda and with Popescu, the combiner in energy?!”
