A finalist at the 2016 US Open and 2021 Wimbledon, the athlete from the Czech Republic dropped just 19 games in her first four matches in Melbourne.
Carolina (world leader 2017) will play in the quarters against the winner of the match between Magda Lynette (45 WTA) and Caroline Garcia (4 favorite).
Australian Open 2023 will be held from January 16 to 29. The reigning champions are Ashley Barty (now retired) and Rafael Nadal (eliminated in the second round).
