The team of PAOK Thessaloniki, trained by Rezvan Lucescu, won an important victory in the 19th stage of the Greek Super League with a score of 3:0 on the field of the leader Panathinaikos of Athens.

After a first half dominated by the hosts, PAOK opened the scoring in the 44th minute after a Ruben Perez own goal.

Immediately after the break, in the 46th minute, Yannis Constantelias passes into the penalty area to Andriy Zhivkovich, who makes the score 2:0. And the wards of Rezvan Lucescu continued the pressure on the goal of “Panathinaikos”, which bore fruit after six minutes.

In the 52nd minute, Constantelias shot from inside the penalty area, and goalkeeper Brignoli could not intervene.

Panathinaikos pulled within 10 in extra time after Schenkeveld saw his second yellow card, but the fate of the match was sealed from the start of the second half.

The win keeps PAOK on the podium, five points behind second-placed AEK Athens and six behind leaders Panathinaikos.
