A 43-year-old woman died on Saturday after being attacked by a pack of dogs while jogging in the Lacul Morii area of Bucharest. In April 2022, she arrived at the hospital in critical condition after being attacked by dogs in the same area.
Ana Orosh Daraban loved nature and sports, participated in several projects that promoted a healthy lifestyle and the beauty of nature, which needed protection.
He was born in Baia Mare and lived in Bucharest. He worked as an environmental engineer at the National Research Institute of Mechatronics and Measuring Technology.
He was an active member of the Alpin Club Pro-Mont Bucharest, an association that aims to promote mountain sports.
Ana Oros Daraban has been the Roșia Montana Marathon ambassador since January 2014, when she joined the Pachamama Romania team.
“Physician and research engineer in the field of sanitation and environmental protection, Ana Oros is a worthy promoter of eco-sustainable values,” said the organizers of the Roșia Montana Marathon.
It also appears in a clip to promote the Viața Ver’de Bucharest festival, a project supported by the Capital City Hall and the 6th Sector City Hall.
As an active participant, he participated in the organization of projects and events for the promotion of the rights of nature in national and European legislation, as well as environmental education.
In the same area, Ana was attacked by two packs of dogs
On April 20, 2022, Ana was attacked by more than 10 dogs in the Lacul Morii area of Sector 6 in Bucharest and arrived at the hospital with multiple wounds on her scalp, lower and upper limbs.
Then Anna’s friends collected money from donations for the young athlete and also announced that she needed blood.
Ana managed to recover and told Fanatic about what happened.
“I knew dogs, but there were two packs. I could string one, the other, equally, but they were both, and I could not. I’m glad those people, that cyclist, were there to save me.
I also had a premonition that something bad was going to happen. There is God, we were a little lucky, there were also fatalities,” Fanatyk said about the dog attack.
Then, Anya, I hope that the authorities will act in such a way that no one will experience what she experienced.
- “I know that the authorities have been notified. I hope that appropriate administrative measures will be taken, that the two town halls involved in the development of the Lacul Morii area and upstream, in Dambovica, to the Chiajna Stadium, will be involved. I hope they will join hands and get things together with the others.
- I think there should be a working group between the town halls there (Sektorului 6 Town Hall and Kiaina Town Hall) with the police to solve this situation. I think there is a solution. These dogs can be castrated. There are many families abroad who need puppies and are ready to adopt them. As far as I know, they haven’t arrested everyone yet, they only arrested 10 of the 15-20 who attacked me,” said Ana.
Several friends wrote messages lamenting Ana’s sad fate.
