Stanescu took part in the PSD district conference in Vaslui, during which several delegates asked whether the agreement signed with the governing partners would be respected.

“If you still have doubts, don’t, because our president, Marcel Colacu, will be the prime minister of Romania after his term ends. If this does not happen, we will definitely have early elections. there are discussions in the ministries, I hope that we will solve them, solve them first of all for the country, and not necessarily for this or that party,” said Paul Stanescu.

PSD President Marcel Čolaku expressed the opinion that discussions regarding the change of the prime minister are not appropriate at the moment, stressing that the rotation will be carried out in accordance with the agreement with the partners.

“The rotation of prime ministers will take place in accordance with the political agreement signed and undertaken by the coalition. The principle from which we proceed is clearly defined in the agreement. I remind you that we and our partners from PNL and UDMR and from minorities are political people. I firmly believe that someday, when the time comes, we will talk in more detail. Things are stipulated in the contract. I don’t understand why we are talking in the public space about what will happen in five months, when Romanians’ priorities are completely different,” said Colacu.

The two leaders of the Social Democrats were present on Friday at the PSD conference of the Vaslui district, during which Dumitra Buzatu was re-elected as the president of the district organization.
