The tragic story that began on October 21, 2021 on the set of the western Rust, starring actor Alec Baldwin, has now reached Justice. In recent months, a devastated Baldwin has said in interviews that he is not responsible for the crash that killed the film’s director of photography Halinda Hutchins and injured director Joel Souza. In particular, in the rehearsal scene on the set, in order to set up positions before filming began, Baldwin was ordered to fire an antique gun. The New Mexico State Attorney’s Office, where the movie was filmed, recently filed charges in the case. Prosecutors said the actor was required to ensure that the gun and ammunition were properly checked and never pointed them at anyone, a basic safety rule.
