Philippe Otele applauded CFR Cluj

The team coached by Dan Petrescu have reached an agreement with UTA’s Philippe Otele, a player entering the final six months of his contract, but he has refused to extend his commitment to the Arad club.

In fact, the 23-year-old Nigerian did not even participate with UTA in the winter camp in Turkey, writes GSP.

From now on, Philippe Otele can reach Cluj if the officials of the two formations agree on an immediate transfer. There is a precedent of Roger, who has already signed a contract with CFR Cluj, but ended up joining the team sooner, after UTA received 200,000 euros.

Arriving in Arad a year ago, Otele played in 46 matches for László Balint’s team, for which he scored 10 times.

CFR Cluj transferred Maglika (Apoel Nicosia), Peteleu (Kishvarda), Krasnici (Balkans) and Tara (Jagiellonia) this winter.
