A formal challenge

Accused of driving 94 km/h instead of 90 km/h, the pensioner does not remember this speeding. He then decides to challenge it and takes the necessary steps to do so on the ANTAI website. He then pays a deposit of €68, which he can return if the report is cancelled. But now the case is moving forward as the public prosecutor’s officer decides to refer the case to Albi Police Court. Then nothing. Until December 31. As he prepares to celebrate the New Year, Gerard receives an unpleasant visitbailiff who comes to hand him a summons to appear before the police.

A mistake, but not an indulgence

An investigation was conducted which proved that the Assistant Judicial Police Officer had indeed made a poor manipulation by entering the address. However, the description was not preserved, and a representative of the prosecutor’s office then asked a fine of 180 euros against the accused. The judge is then due to issue his decision on February 11.
