
The president of the Bihor District Council, Ilye Bolojan, was left without a driver’s license due to speeding.
According to ebihoreanu.ro, the traffic police of Satu Mare revoked his license after he was found to be driving 50 km/h over the speed limit on a national road in a neighboring county.
President CJ was caught on DN 19 between Karei and Satu Mare at over 120 km/h driving his official car, the newspaper reported.
“I was going to Satu Mare, for a meeting with the heads of the Satu Mare and Maramures county councils, and in the area before Karei, outside the city, where the road is straight and the speed limit is 70 km/h, I entered at too high a speed” , – said Bolozhan.
Ilie Bolocan was also sanctioned in 2017 when he was mayor of Oradea, his driving license was suspended for 3 months after he was caught by a radar speeding at 172 km/h on DN79, between Szymand and Chisinau Crimea.
