“On January 16, 2023, the degree of water supply in the soil profile 0-100 cm, in autumn wheat crops, is within satisfactory limits, close to optimal and optimal, in Maramures, Krishan, Banat and Oltenia, in the extensive agricultural territories of Transylvania, Muntenia and Moldova” , – reports ANM on Monday.
The source also said that soil moisture is low and especially low in the rest of the country.
According to experts, moderate, severe and extreme soil drought is observed in Dobruja, locally in the west, center, east, south, northeast and southeast of Moldova, in the northeast, southeast, south, isolated northern Muntenia and southern Transylvania.
