
Former US President Donald Trump’s family real estate business was fined $1.6 million today after being found guilty of tax fraud and other charges.
With this Manhattan court verdict, the lengthy legal battle is now over for former President Donald Trump’s company, the Trump Organization, which was convicted last December for providing undeclared sums, bonuses, etc. to some of his top executives.
One of these former Trump Organization top executives, Allen Weiselberg, pleaded guilty and testified at the company’s trial. Last Tuesday, Weiselberg was sentenced to five months in prison at the infamous Rikers Island prison complex.
