
Prime Minister Nicolae Cuke, President of the Chamber of Deputies Marcel Ciolacu and President of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova Ihor Grosu are present on Sunday evening at a speech dedicated to the Day of National Culture held at the National Opera in Bucharest.
According to Agerpres, ministers Lucian Romaškanu, Adrian Cachiu, Catalin Predoyu, Petre Daea, Alexandru Rafila, as well as capital prefect Tony Greble and presidential adviser Sergiu Nistor are also taking part in the event. Members of the President’s Administration, representatives of the diplomatic corps and parliamentarians are also present in the hall.
“It will be a more special evening, it will not be an evening dedicated to symphonic, classical music. It will be an evening dedicated to beautiful music from across the Prut. We never parted. The Romanian culture was the same regardless of who and when penciled in the map, so we all live together in the Romanian language. We hope that next year, if everything goes well, we will have people from Ukraine, and Romanians from Ukraine, and Romanians from Voivodeship, from Timok and so on, on the occasion of this holiday,” said the Minister of Culture. The show is supported by the choir and orchestra of the Bucharest National Opera, conducted by Daniel Djinga.
