Earlier, the authorities reported that ten Russian servicemen were injured as a result of an explosion at a cultural center in the Belgorod region, which is located on the border with Ukraine, where several military bases and training grounds are located.

Telegram channels “112” and “Baza”, connected to the police and law enforcement agencies of Russia, reported that the dead and wounded are Russian conscripts who were called to fight in Ukraine as part of the mobilization campaign announced last September.

It also said the explosion occurred after a soldier mishandled a grenade in a local cultural center that had been converted into an ammunition depot.
