Captain Valentin Siku, wanted by KAA Gent

Although there was talk about the transfer of Giku Grozav to Rapid or Jair to the University of Craiova, coach Nicolae Constantin could be without captain Valentin Siku, who may leave the team from Ploiesti to participate in the Belgian championship, writes Digisport.

According to his manager, the club has received an official offer.

“This is an offer for Čšicu. Now let’s see if Petrolul agrees and accepts. It remains to be seen what conclusion we will come to. I can’t tell you who the offer is from and how much was offered, but yes, it’s a team from Belgium,” announced Florin Vulturard.

According to Digisport, KAA Gent offered approximately 350,000 euros for Čšicu.

The former 2015 Belgian champion and last year’s Cup winner Gent are in 5th place after 19 rounds in the Jupiler Pro League standings.
