A new, more powerful version of Extreme
Released in two trim levels in 2021, the Extreme version replaces the expression of the highest version. Dacia also claims that almost 8 out of 10 customers chose the latter!
In addition to stylistic changes, Spring is also developing on the technical side. In the basic version, the electric unit with a capacity of 33 kW, which is equivalent to 45 hp, was retained. On the other hand, the Extreme version inherits a new motor 48 kWThis is 65 hp. This new engine coupled with the new specific reducer an increase in torque transmitted to the wheels will logically lead to better accelerations as well as sharper climbs. The current engine does suffer from quite slow revs due to low power.
No changes are visible from the autonomy side. The Extreme version is still available 220 km in WLTP mixed cycle. Last year, Spring was also held on the test bench of the AutoPlus laboratory. In the real cycle, small, inexpensive electricity has reached 160 km in a real mixed cycle and 205 km in the urban cycle. However, the Romanian manufacturer claims that its customers’ daily trips are 31 km with an average speed of 26 km/h. So enough to meet small daily needs!
A €200 increase over the Expression version
If you are interested in this new extreme version, please note that it will be available to order from us next January 17.
What about the price? This version is 65 hp. begins with 22,300 euros, and will therefore replace Expression processing. Thus, compared to the current 33 kW (45 hp) engine, the price has increased by only 200 euros. Note that this more upscale trim will be in the short term applies to the entire Dacia model range (Jogger, Duster, Sandero).
