
The military court of the Odintsovo garrison sentenced the mobilized Oleksandr Leshkov to five years and six months in a strict regime colony, finding him guilty of beating the commander, the independent publication Meduza notes with reference to TASS.
The incident came to the attention of the media in mid-November, when a video of the conflict between the mobilized and their commander at the training ground in Patriot Park near Moscow appeared on the Internet.
Then the mobilized scolded the officer for his poor training, low-quality equipment and indifferent attitude.
Oleksandr Leshkov, who punched the officer in the chest during an argument with him, spoke mainly for the mobilized Russians, prosecutors said.
TASS reported that Leshkov was detained on November 15 and charged with hitting or other violence against the chief and insulting him for “expressing his dissatisfaction with the organization of the service in an offensive manner in front of the officers, using obscene words, and deliberately blowing smoke.” from a cigarette in front of the officer, after which he punched the lieutenant colonel in the chest.”
Oleksandr Leshkov does not admit his guilt and appealed the decision.
