Dimitrios Tsouvalis was born in Neohori Messolonghi in March 1946. He received his basic education in Katun, Galaxidi, Amfilochia, Astakos and Agrinio. He studied mathematics, computer science and robotics in Uppsala, Sweden. Together with others, he founded the literary magazines Synthesis and Embolimon. He writes poetry, short stories, novels and theater. His latest book is The Soul of the Rebels (published by Armos).
