Ranked 198th in the world, Gabriela was defeated in straight sets 7-5, 6-3 by Rebecca Masarova, the Iberian is ranked 98th in the WTA rankings.

The game lasted one hour and 19 minutes.

• One of the big surprises of the debut of the season was Rebeka Masarova, the athlete from Spain managed to play the final of the WTA tournament in Oakland (she defeated Coco Gauf).

We will remind you that in the second round of Australian Open qualification in Romania, two players are competing: Gabriela Ruse and Aleksandra Kadancu Ignatic.
