“The City Hall of Bucharest, through the Animal Supervision and Protection Authority (ASPA), resumes on Friday, January 27, the campaign of free sterilization and microchipping of dogs of normal breeds with the owner. Mobile veterinary clinics, partners of the campaign, will be located in sectors 1, 2 and 4,” the capital city hall’s Facebook page says.
According to the source, anesthesia, sterilization, treatment after surgery, microchipping, registration in the Dog Registry with owners and a medical card are provided free of charge as part of the promotion.
“I encourage residents of Bucharest who have non-sterilized dogs of ordinary breeds to call 0743.204.942 from Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for an appointment. Sterilization is the only civilized solution to combat the phenomenon of uncontrolled reproduction of animals,” said Nikushor Dan, the general mayor of the capital. (Source Agerpres)
