Gabriel Torrier has signed a contract with Genchlerbirligi

The Henchlerbirligi club officially announced the transfer of the Romanian midfielder, who signed a contract for one and a half years with the possibility of extension for another season.

On December 29, the footballer and Farul reached an amicable agreement to terminate the contract after 17 games and 5 goals for the blue and whites.

Torje is not new to Turkey, having played for Konyaspor, Osmanlispor, Karabükspor, Sivasspor and Bandirmaspor so far.

“Turkey is a country I know. I am very happy to meet the fans here again. I played in Ankara and I know that “Henchlerbirligi” is a big club. I am ready to do everything possible for such a large community and I am looking forward to meeting the athletes,” Torje said, according to the club’s website.

The 33-year-old midfielder has an impressive CV, having played for the likes of Udinese, Granada, Espanyol and Larissa. He also has 57 matches for Romania, for which he scored 12 goals.
