Facundo Mallo will play in Argentina

According to a statement from the club, Malho left the Super League with Uruguayan side Defensor Sporting and has now been loaned out to Rosario Central on a one-year loan with the option of a permanent transfer.

The central defender arrived in Romania in 2019 in Bucharest “Dynamo”, for which he played only 3 matches. A few months later, he signed a contract with Rapid, who played in the second league, collecting 27 games and 3 goals in one season.

The 27-year-old has also played for Liverpool Montevideo and CA Torque, as well as playing for Uruguay’s under-20 national team.

Founded by railway workers, Rosario Central, like Rapid Bucharest, has more than 130 years of tradition, is a four-time champion and has won the Argentine Cup.
