In his memoir Spare, which will be published next Tuesday but has already been obtained by some newspapers, the British prince, who has since moved to California, says his military training taught him how to kill his enemies: “I shot when I had to, I took one life to save another.”

According to The Telegraph, Prince Harry revealed that during his second mission in Afghanistan, he was able to count his casualties thanks to the video cameras on board his Apache helicopter.

  • It is not a number that fills me with pleasure, but not one that makes me feel embarrassed,” the 38-year-old British prince wrote in his autobiography.
