Brazilian Carlos Enrique Raposo (59 years old) had a unique career, which was followed by the film “Kaiser – the best football player who never played football” and the book of the same name.
Nicknamed “The Kaiser” due to his physical resemblance to the legendary Franz Beckenbauer, Raposo is the biggest cheater in the history of the Royal sport. He wanted to enjoy all the benefits of a football player’s life, but not actually play.
Thus, he was registered with several important teams, but never played in an official match and apparently did not score a single goal, although he was listed as a striker.
He was a junior at Botafogo and Flamengo between 1972 and 1979, before being spotted training at Mexican club Puebla and signing his first professional contract. (photo: Dreamstime)
