The competition is held in Brisbane, Perth and Sydney for the first time. It is played at a tough level and has a total prize pool of $15 million.

18 national teams are participating in the United Cup, which are divided into six groups. Five matches are played in a match between two teams: two men’s singles, two women’s singles and one mixed doubles match.
