A man from Satu Mare District found out from a tax notice sent by the municipality that he has a car in his name. He says he lost the ticket in 2020, and the person who found it posted a photo on Facebook, suspecting it was the end of the car sales contract. The man appealed to the court to terminate the contract, writes PortalSm.
As sources told PortalSm, the man is from Turc commune, and representatives of the city hall sent him a message from which he learned that he has a car in his name. The husband and wife went to the city hall to find out the situation, and there they were shown a copy of the contract of sale that they had signed.
He stated that he did not buy cars, noting that during March 2020 he lost his wallet. A photo of his report card, which he found in the meantime, was published on Facebook, and he suspected that his data had been used to conclude a joint sales contract. The man called the person listed as the seller in the contract, and she told him that he had sold the car in the contract, but to another person, claiming that he did not draw up the sales contract, according to a local newspaper.
Then there was a statement to the police, the signatures were checked, but the person who signed instead of him could not be identified. This week, a court ordered that the contract be voided because it is a sham. (Photo: Dreamstime.com)
