Visual material with a car of criminals got into the “light” of publicity they opened fire near the gas stationon Lavriu Avenue, in sweet waters.

Two CCTV footage shows the black Smart of the two perpetrators speeding through oncoming traffic and approaching a gas station.

As it became known, one of the attackers shot twice in the air near the gas station shortly after 10:00 am.

A gas station employee notified the authorities, and police forces immediately arrived on the scene, who are inspecting the area, as well as footage from surveillance cameras. Two shell casings were found at the scene.

Incident at Gerakas

The gas station belongs to the same family as the victim of the Gerakas gas station shooting last June. Then the 38-year-old gas station owner was shot with 15 bullets when he arrived at work and after he got out of the armored car.

His father condemned the protection rings that killed his son because he did not comply with their demands.

In 2014, the name of a 38-year-old man appeared in the materials of a criminal case initiated by the prosecutor’s office in the case of a gang of extortionists, and in 2018, unknown people shot down a gas station belonging to him in Gerakas.

The authorities believe that this is a settling of scores, since the victim has already been attacked in the past.

According to sources in the Security Service, it turns out whether the two incidents (today’s and June’s) are connected.
