Early this morning, members of the Thessaloniki Liberal Initiative poured paint on the house of New Democracy MP Stratos Simopoulos.
“This morning, instead of carols, I received a “Christmas” visit with paints, in fact, to my house, from members of the self-proclaimed Thessaloniki Freedom Initiative, who claimed responsibility with a proclamation – an attack on the rule of law,” emphasizes in a written statement the parliamentarian from the National Democratic parties in the first constituency of Thessaloniki, Stratos Simopoulos.
Mr. Simopoulos adds that “the democracy that I consistently serve is not intimidated, and personally I am not afraid.”
ND announcement
“Bold attacks by bandits on deputies, officials and New Democracy organizations continue. Today, the second day of Christmas, the house of the first MP of Thessaloniki, Stratos Simopoulos, was in order,” the ND said in a statement.
The ruling party adds: “Let them not be in vain. The answer is the same. Democracy is not to be intimidated. Nobody is afraid.”
