American space provision of services (NASA) announced on Wednesday that it had lost contact with the InSight robotic spacecraft. Marseffectively ending his mission to the Red Planet.
My strength is very low, so this might be the last picture I can send. Don’t worry about me: my time here has been productive and serene. If I can keep talking to my mission team, I will, but I’ll sign here soon. Thank you for staying with me. pic.twitter.com/wkYKww15kQ

The epilogue is long overdue as the InSight has been running out of power for the past few weeks due to dust accumulating in its solar panels.
NASA decided that if two consecutive attempts to contact InSight were unsuccessful, it would declare the mission “completed”.
According to NASA, the last time the robotic spacecraft contacted Earth was on December 15.
InSight landed on the Red Planet in November 2018, marking NASA’s return to Mars after the 2012 Curiosity mission.
During the four years that he explored the secrets of Mars, he recorded 1300 earthquakes and made important discoveries about the geodynamic evolution of the Red Planet.
