Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi met with his Polish counterpart Andrzej Duda at Rzeszów Airport in southeastern Poland on Thursday, the day after his visit to the United States.

“On the way back, I met with a friend of Ukraine, the President of Poland, Andrzej Duda,” Zelenskyy wrote on social media, accompanying the message with a video of the two heads of state hugging.

“We have analyzed this year, which brought historical challenges in view of the war. We also discussed strategic plans for the future, bilateral relations and cooperation at the international level in 2023,” Zelensky said in Telegram, Agerpres reports.
