Theory: both Metsovo and Chania

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis “announced” a few days ago that he will spend his Christmas holidays in Metsovo, but I’m not at all sure when he will finally go to Epirus. Sources in the area told me that since the Prime Minister’s statement and since then, there has been an unprecedented “duo” of politicians, statesmen and all sorts of henchmen who rushed to… book a room in the area. Since Kyriakos Mitsotakis thinks very late in such cases, I would not at all rule out that he will finally change the dates, start from Chania and go to Metsovo for the second year.

Message via… Tsakalota

A message of unity through… Tsakalot was sent yesterday by Alexis Tsipras, who prefaced the former finance minister’s book “Back to the Wall”, which refers to the period of negotiations between SYRIZA and the Troika. “We stand here today together, proud to have led Greece out of the deadlock of memos,” he said, among other things. So the President of SYRIZA attacked the government for its economic policies, but he also sent the message that in the elections he would oppose SYRIZA together, as both Umbrella and some of the “allies” were present.

President

ADAE President Christos Rammos is scheduled to meet today with the President of the Republic, Katerina Sakellaropoulou, to reportedly hand over the annual report of the Independent Body of PtD. The meeting, however, is of interest because it takes place in the shadow of a phone surveillance case.

“Christmas” signs

“So let’s celebrate together safely,” Kostas Bakoyannis wrote on social media, “dressing up” the initiative for the return of car numbers, which was adopted by the municipality of Athens, in a festive tone. Apparently, the mayor, too, felt out of place for not doing his part, and chose to return the signs to those who violated them, throwing some Christmas stardust into the dirt and mess of the street. And again to make the majority, who suffered from the lawlessness of the few, wonder if they were wrong again.
