
Former US President Barack Obama continued the tradition of announcing his favorite films of the current year and on Friday selected 17 films for his 2022 list, Variety magazine reported, Agerpres reported.
“I watched some great movies this year,” the former US president said in a message posted on social media.
“Here are some of my favorite movies. What did I miss?” he added.

Obama’s list includes two productions considered to have a very strong chance in the current Hollywood awards season, “Best Shooter: Maverick” and “Everything, Everywhere and At Once”, as well as numerous foreign films such as “The Decision to Leave” by Park Chan. -wook, “Petite Maman” by Celine Sciamma” and “Wheel of Fortune and Fantasy” by Ryusuke Hamaguti.
Other cinematic productions rated by Barack Obama in 2022: Steven Spielberg’s The Fablemen, Gina Prince-Bythewood’s The Woman King, Charlotte Welles’ After the Sun, John Patton Ford’s Emily the Criminal, Fernando Leon de Aranoa, Hero by Ashgar Farhadi, Hit the Road by Panah Panahi, Tar by Todd Field and After Young by Kogonada.
