Interior Minister Makis Voridis commented on the possible dates for the upcoming elections on the morning show “Megi”. Mr Voridis, among other things, said: “Calculate a clear timeframe of two months from the moment the Prime Minister decides to dissolve Parliament for the whole process. One possibility is that there will be a first vote before Easter and a second vote before the national elections.”
Regarding ASEP’s large public sector recruitment competition, the Minister of the Interior noted that “the deadline for submitting applications of interest in the competition has expired. Applications have reached about 108,000, the positions to be pooled in principle are about 5,500 and could increase by about 1,000 positions,” adding that the elections will not affect the conduct of the ASEP competition, and the final results will be released in December.
The interior minister on the same channel also commented on the development of Kylie’s case, describing as “advanced” the idea of the Belgian prosecutor not to release the Greek MEP, because he considered, among other things, the risk of her being kidnapped by Qatari agents.
