
In the Siberian city of Kemerovo on Friday, a fire broke out in a building where an unregistered nursing home was operating, as a result of which 11 people died, the TASS agency reports with reference to emergency services, writes Reuters.

The agency quotes representatives of the fire safety service as saying that the entire floor of the building, where 20 people lived, burned down. The fire was contained.
They said many nursing homes operate without registration as such across Russia and cannot be subject to inspections because they are considered private property.
