George Cohen throughout his career played for Fulham, where he played at least 459 matches. Unfortunately, the English defender had to end his career at the age of only 29 due to a serious knee injury.
Cohen was part of the famous England team that won the World Cup in 1966 and made no fewer than 37 appearances for the Three Lions.
Geoff Hurst (81), who scored a hat-trick in the 1966 final, and Bobby Charlton (85) are the only surviving England side to have won the World Cup.
