The recall is limited to 400-gram Almondy, Almond Cake and DAIM purchased at IKEA stores, which are part of lot L2140 and have an expiration date of 11/18/2023,” the company said in a press release, as quoted by the News. ro.
Almondy encourages customers who purchased this product to return the product to the store where they purchased it for a full refund or contact Almondy at www.almondy.com.
“At Almondy, the quality and safety of our products is our number one priority. We take this incident very seriously, so as a precautionary measure we have decided to recall the above batch of products from IKEA stores. We have identified the measures we need to take in the future to make sure that similar situations do not happen again,” said Margareta Johannesson, Almondy’s Quality Director. Almondy apologizes for the inconvenience caused by the recall of this product,” the statement said.
The withdrawal period is 12/22/2022 – 01/22/2023.
