Natalya Antyukh, deprived of the gold won in London

As reported by L’Equipe, Antyukh (41 years old) is serving a four-year suspension valid until 2025.

American Lashida Demus, who took second place ten years ago, will receive the gold medal.

In 2020, Antyukha was charged with doping following an investigation by Canadian lawyer Richard McLaren into Russian sports.
