Two Italian journalists said on Tuesday that they were the target of a deliberate attack by Russian forces in the city of Kherson, Ukraine, even though the car they were in had large “print” written on it, Ansa reported, Ukrainian Pravda reported.
They said the vehicle they were in was “deliberately” fired at by a Russian shell, but they escaped with only minor injuries.
The shell “damaged the car”, “it was fired at us, but we managed to escape safely, we were bleeding a little, but the wound is minor,” reporter Claudio Locatelli said in the video, which also features his colleague Niccolò Celesti.

It seems that the video was shot exactly at the moment when the projectile fell next to the car.
- “If I had opened the door, I would have lost my leg or worse,” the journalist said.
The video shows that the car was written by a large “press”.
- “The attack on us, given the place and the dynamics, was deliberate.”
- “The fire came from the other bank of the Dnieper, where the Russian army is located.”
