After promising Gigi Bekali that he will do everything possible to ensure that FCSB can perform at the new arena in Gençi, PSD President Marcel Çolaku announced that he has taken a new step towards solving the problem.

FCSB can develop in Ghent

FCSB submitted several requests to lease the arena in Gençi, but each time received a negative response from CSA Steaua.

Marcel Cholaku announced on social networks that he submitted an amendment to facilitate access to the state’s sports facilities.

“I saw that the exaggerated pride of some people can block the use of new sports facilities built by the Romanian state with Romanian money.

In a country where so few children play sports, blocking access to sports infrastructure sabotages the health of our citizens.

That’s why we supported the project, when sports grounds in the school yard can be used outside of school hours.

And that’s why we submitted an amendment to the bill on amendments and additions to the Law on Physical Culture and Sports adopted today to simplify access to the state’s sports facilities for everyone. Until now, due to the bureaucracy, it was almost impossible for anyone to get access, of course, for a fee, to the sports base.

The priority is that everyone who is involved in organized sports – children, juniors, adults – can more easily use the modern sports facility.

And yes, I am glad that this law will put an end to one of the biggest rivalries in Romanian football.

I believe that the time has come when the rivalry in Romania should be understood only in sports terms and for the teams to be able to share the same stadium without problems. If “Roma” and “Lazio” or “Inter” with “Milan” were able to do it, then I am convinced that “Steaua” from FCSB will also be able to do it,” Marcel Cholaku reported on social networks.
