Last Wednesday, after Twitter permanently suspended the @ElonJet page that tracked the flights of Musk’s private jet, as well as the personal page of the student who ran it, the South African billionaire said on the social network that the decisions were made due to an incident involving his son X Æ A-12 Musk.

“Last night a car carrying Lil X was chased by a crazy stalker (thinking I was in it) who then immobilized the car and climbed on the hood.”

Musk also shared a video of the alleged attacker, asking his more than 120 million Twitter followers if they recognized him or the car he was in.

Musk, who officially took control of Twitter on Oct. 28, also said legal action was pending against Jack Sweeney, an American student who ran the @ElonJet page, and organizations “that supported the harm to his family.”

Several major US publications, including The Washington Post, noted at the time, however, that Musk had not provided any evidence that the incident was in any way connected to the @ElonJet page, which only tracked the flights of his private jet, either which information is collected based on publicly available airport stopover data.

But Twitter later suspended the pages of several prominent US tech journalists, with Musk accusing them of publicly disclosing real-time location data without providing details.

But Twitter reversed the decision after Musk ran two separate polls on the topic on his page, both of which showed his followers also disagreed with the measure.

Who is the man whom Elon Musk accuses of harassing his family

Journalists of The Washington Post in an article published on Sunday claim that the American police have identified the man who is involved in the incident referred to by the billionaire, and that it happened at a gas station in the city of South Pasadena in the state of California.

But contrary to Musk’s claims, the incident happened 23 hours after the @ElonJet account last shared the location of Musk’s private jet at Los Angeles International Airport, and it happened 25 miles from the airport.

The man in question was identified as Brandon Collado, an Uber Eats driver who knew that singer Grimes, Musk’s former partner, with whom the billionaire has two children, is Claire Elise Boucher, and that she lives near the gas station where he lives. the incident happened.

Collado contacted The Post reporters with strange claims, claiming that Grimes is subtly communicating with him through his Instagram posts and that Musk can block him from taking orders at Uber Eats, claiming that the billionaire controls the company.

South Pasadena police arrived at the gas station shortly after the incident and questioned Collado, also informing him that they had opened an investigation into him.

Collado also claims that Musk always knows where he is and that he has been watching over his family since the incident.

“I’m the guy in this shot… You’re connected to me and have been stalking me and my family for over a year,” Collado wrote on Twitter on Sunday.

The Post notes that there is no information to confirm if Musk’s son was actually in the car at the time of the incident.

Mark Madero, a detective with the Los Angeles Police Department, told US reporters that police have found no evidence that the man being investigated used the @ElonJet account, but he cannot completely rule out the possibility.
