Donald Trump appears as America’s superhero in a video posted on his platform on Wednesday.

In the video, Trump can be seen in a suit saying that America needs a superhero and then transforming into a Superman-like hero.

At the end of the video, the message “important announcements on Thursday, December 15” appears, but without specifying what these announcements are.

This is not the first time Trump has borrowed elements of pop culture to promote various topics.

In April 2019, he posted a video on Twitter to promote his campaign using music from The Dark Knight Rises. The tweet has since been removed from the platform.

It appears Donald Trump’s sudden rise is no coincidence, as a Quinnipiac University poll was released on Wednesday that showed the former US president’s popularity had fallen to a seven-year low.

According to a poll analyzed by CNBC, only 31% of voters who took part viewed Trump favorably, compared with 59% who said the opposite. Media reports say this is the lowest percentage Trump has received since 2015.

As for independent voters, the numbers are even worse for Trump. Specifically, only 25% view Trump favorably, compared to 62%.

As for Republican voters polled, 70% of them still have a positive attitude towards Trump, and 20% have lost confidence. In fact, this percentage is the lowest for Trump since March 2016.

The poll included 1,456 registered voters, with a margin of error of plus or minus 2.6 percentage points.

“Former President Trump’s post-announced numbers are moving in the wrong direction,” said Tim Malloy, an analyst at Quinnipiac University.

“You have to go back at least six years to find such low rates in all three categories,” he said.
