The former great Serbian football player was diagnosed with leukemia in July 2019, he fought with all his strength against the relentless disease and, after retiring from football for a while, returned to the bench of “Bologna”.
“I respect the disease, I will face it with my chest forward and look it in the eyes, as I have always done in life,” Mykhailovych said shortly after learning that he had leukemia.
In 2019, Mykhailovych was diagnosed with an aggressive form of leukemia. The technician underwent a bone marrow transplant.
In his autobiography, the coach wrote that he has two birthdays; February 20, 1969 and October 29, 2019, the last date it was transplanted.
