One person died and eight were injured after a minibus overturned on Friday afternoon on the A1 highway, in the Nădlac district, the Arad emergency inspectorate said.

According to the source cited, the Red Intervention Plan was activated and several SMURD units, a medical helicopter and special vehicles of the county ambulance service were sent to the scene.

The minibus overturned outside the roadway, no one was injured, but one person died, eight received various injuries.

“After the first medical examination, there are nine victims, one of whom has non-life-threatening injuries, and one person has injuries of varying degrees of severity,” the ISU said, noting that the other seven passengers appeared to have minor injuries. (source: Agerpres)
