The 23-year-old man is accused of committing eight armed robberies over the course of two hours on Tuesday evening (December 13) in various areas of Thessaloniki and was eventually arrested by ambulance police.

Among other things, he robbed pharmacies and convenience stores in western Thessaloniki at gunpoint, as well as gambling shops in the eastern part of the city, where the police managed to handcuff him.

As it became known, in total he was involved in 11 armed robberies, since in addition to the eight above, his involvement in three more surfaced.

A 23-year-old boy is being taken to the Prosecutor of First Instance of Thessaloniki.
