French police have caught a 29-year-old man who has been issued a European arrest warrant in connection with the murder of a 32-year-old woman last month in Italy.
A man wanted for murder was arrested yesterday Wednesday in the Mulhouse region in eastern France.
This is Mohamed Gaaloul, a 29-year-old Tunisian who is the main suspect in the brutal murder of Alice Neri, according to the Italian news agency ANSA.
On the morning of November 18, the lifeless body of a 32-year-old man was found in the trunk of a burning car in Modena, Italy.
The 29-year-old “circulated all over the world between Germany, France and Switzerland,” a judicial police spokesman told Agence France-Presse (AFP). “He changed his location and took precautions not to attract attention, making sure he was not being followed,” the official said.
