A few days ago, the international art fair Art Basel was held in Miami, USA. For the occasion, the Crewe manufacturer introduced a once with Bentley Flying Spur Hybridcreated in collaboration with Dominique Chambrone, better known as “The Surgeon” (“surgeon”).

The renowned bespoke footwear designer, who draws inspiration from both high fashion and street culture, has designed a series of 10 limited edition sneakers for Bentley and worked hand in hand with MullinerBentley’s Advanced Personalization division to achieve a a single model Bentley Flying Spur Hybrid.

Bentley Flying Spur Hybrid x The Surgeon: a unique model

The Bentley Flying Spur Hybrid x The Surgeon distinguished by a two-tone dress that combines shades of Anthracite and Anthracite Satin, supplemented black elements which replace the chrome inserts on the outside: we find this “Black Pack” on the front blade, door sills, rear diffuser or trunk spoiler in carbon fiber.

Contrasting these dark elements are a few colorful touches satin bronze, which is located on the front and rear bumpers. Subtle satin bronze trim also marks the lower sides of the car, while the 22-inch satin anthracite wheels feature subtle satin bronze trim on the outer edges. The model logos are also decorated with a satin bronze finish, and the brand emblem on the hood is painted in glossy black and illuminated.

Bentley Flying Spur Hybrid x The Surgeon: custom interior

The interior of the Bentley Flying Spur Hybrid has also been transformed for this version with the signature of The Surgeon, with skin the color of flax on the seats, doors and lower trim with bronze contrast stitching and matching trim. This upholstery contrasts with the Beluga colored leather found on the upper trim, center console and rear shelf, while the steering wheel subtly combines the two leather tones.

Leather upholstery is emphasized by covers in walnut veneer, with a satin finish on the top and a glossy finish on the bottom. Various Surgeon logos are engraved or embroidered on board, and throughout the cockpit we find motifs in the shape of a skull accompanied by crossed scalpels.

Art Basel Miami 2022: three new models are presented

Bentley Flying Spur Hybrid x The Surgeon is not for sale. It’s a demonstration of what the Mulliner division can do best in terms of personalizing luxury cars. This unique achievement was presented during the festival in 2022 Art Basel in Miamiwhich is accompanied by two new models.

Bentley Continental GT Speed ​​​​​​​​​​​Convertible “Sager Strong” was inspired by Craig Sager, specifically the jacket he wore to receive the Jimmy V Perseverance Award in 2016: this model will be auctioned in February 2023, with proceeds going to donated to fight leukemia. Finally, the Continental GT V8 Cabriolet draws inspiration from the works of renowned Miami-based Brazilian artist Romero Britto and his colorful lifestyle that marks his success in pop art.
