When you do something stupid, no matter how big, it’s often better to admit it and allow yourself to be punished than to risk making your case worse. And this is true in many situations, including on the road and especially when speeding. And this, undoubtedly, is the lesson that the motorist we are talking about today will remember well. Because we can say that his first quality is not actually decision-making. Vice versa. Intercepted for a “simple” excess, but very high, the latter finally saw fit to try to escape. It is very bad for him!
Sometimes it happens that the radar highlights a speeding driver, but he does not receive a traffic ticket! https://t.co/eNzBECUAIE?utm_campaign=post-auto&utm_medium=twitter

Rapid escalation
The events unfold on November 10 on the streetHighway A9. Then the gendarmes conduct a routine check on the roads. All of a sudden, a car drives up, flying somewhere at a very high speed. The result: 173 km/h instead of 130 km/h on this stretch of road. Then the police catch up with the driver and ask him to slow down to follow them. The latter then stops on the side of the road and then flees on foot into the vines. But the story does not end there. Quickly caught hiding behind a bush, the latter shows an ID that does not belong to him. He is then brought to the station, but he refuses to cooperate. Then the gendarmes discover that he is on the territory in an irregular state, that he does not have a driver’s license and that his car belongs to his wife, all without insurance.
.
A heavy sentence
An accumulation that baffles even his lawyer Me Poialpré, who expresses regret ” zero points all the way! Between 16:30 and 16:40 he made the wrong choice! “The result,” the court asks 6 months in prison for an ID not in his name, 4 for refusing to obey and 6 for all other offenses. In the end, the driver gets a year in prison, but avoids the ban, but also demanded by the prosecutor’s office. No doubt we won’t be seeing it on the roads again anytime soon…
An automatic speed camera on the RD 137 in St Sulpice d’Arnoult has been terrorizing drivers in recent days, flashing as they obey the speed limit!
This radar was undergoing maintenance. Therefore, there will be no verbalization. Thanks to the whistleblowers!– Gendarmerie of Primorsky Charante (@Gendarmerie_017) September 16, 2021
